World Book Day 2025

On Thursday 6th March all children from Nursery to Year 6 enjoyed taking part in our World Book Day celebrations. The children had a wonderful day exploring many different books and activities. These included listening to a professional storyteller, designing their own book front covers and completing author and storytelling tasks. Our assembly encouraged the children to understand what it means to ‘read your way’ and the children gave thoughtful responses.

Many children entered our ‘book in a box’ competition and the winners will be announced this week in merit assembly! A huge well done and thank you to everyone who entered. The boxes were so very creative and difficult for our guest storyteller to judge.
