Best Selling Author – Dan Freedman

Woden Primary recently enjoyed a visit from best-selling author, Dan Freedman. During his time with the pupils, he spoke about his love of football and how he turned this passion into a very successful career, which took him to two World Cups as the England Teams’ journalist. Dan’s career has evolved into writing books about football and he created the character Jamie Johnson, which is now also a TV series on CBBC. The whole afternoon was so inspiring and taught each and every one of us to follow our dreams and goals and let no-one stop us from being the person we wish to be. At the end of the afternoon, there was time for a Q&A session and a Premier League football, signed by Dan himself, was awarded to the most thought-provoking question. This really was an unforgettable moment and we thank Dan very much for coming to visit us.
