Science at Woden
Our main aim, when teaching Science at Woden, is to enthuse and engage every one of our pupils so that they are curious about the world around them. It is essential that we teach all of our pupils to see themselves as Scientists and to value the contributions they can make to discussions and investigations both here in the classroom or in their future career choices.
We want to always build on our pupils’ natural curiosity and always encourage them to not only ask questions but to find a way to answer them.
The important thing is to never stop questioning. Albert Einstein

The phenomenon appears as shimmering waves of light in the sky.
Researchers at the University of Iowa have found that the most brilliant auroras are made by powerful electromagnetic waves during geomagnetic storms….wow!
